The Injection-Molded Acrylic Case
Our journey to craft a premium-feeling acrylic case began in 2024. By choosing injection molding over the costlier and slower CNC method, we focused on achieving outstanding texture and consistency through precision tooling. After nearly a year of development, our custom molds were completed in late November 2024, which allows us to offer this high-quality case at a starting price of $79.

The Precision Process Behind Our Acrylic Case
Each case follows a complete manufacturing journey: mold design → mold making → injection molding → post-processing.
With the mold challenge solved in November, we’re now refining the final stages:
1. Tapping & Reinforcement: To prevent cracking, we’re testing specialized tapping methods and screw inserts to eliminate visible whitening around screw holes.
2. Surface Finishing: We’re committed to a perfect matte texture and even coloring. After testing 6 different suppliers for sandblasting and coloring without satisfactory results, we have just rejected the latest sample and are now engaging a new supplier.
Group Buy Timeline & Pricing
The acrylic group buy will not launch on February 3rd. To ensure everyone receives a perfected product, we will complete all post-processing refinements and approve a final sample before the Chinese New Year, then open the group buy.
Expected Launch: Late February or early March 2025.
Pricing & Delivery: Prices will remain as announced (starting at $79). Raw materials have been ordered in advance, and if all goes smoothly, we expect to begin deliveries in April. Please stay tuned for further updates.
A Note on Aluminium Cases
If you also love the metal version, we recommend purchasing it sooner rather than later.
We have already ordered 3,000 metal cases, with limited quantities per color. CNC production is underway, with domestic orders shipping before CNY, the group buy closing shortly after, and international shipments starting in March. To secure your preferred color, we suggest ordering early.

Recessed Aluminum Knurled Knob
Offers superb tactile feel while preserving the 60% layout’s clean aesthetic. Via VIA, it can be volume, scroll, or any function you define.
Aurora Arc Side Profile
The side concave is inspired by the “aurora arc,” balancing visual focus and depth.
Functional Weight
The “racetrack” curved weight with wave texture provides a secure grip when moving the keyboard. Twin-eared feet appear to listen to each keystroke, visually merging with the grand curve.
Light, born from within the case
A seamless 360° bottom light strip is artfully concealed within the silhouette’s transitions. When lit, the light appears to emanate organically from within, softly revealing the product’s complete silhouette.
Artistic Silicone Feet
Moving beyond purely functional bumpers, these feet are sculpted into twin-ear shapes. They echo the case's macro-curves, creating a cohesive visual flow while offering stable support—as if gently leaning in to listen to every keystroke.
